Jo is an energetic, enthusiastic musician specialising in singing across a range of different styles.
Jo started her formal music education with the Cello at the age of six. Since then she has challenged herself to learn a variety of different instruments including saxophone, bass guitar, ukulele, keyboard and most recently guitar.
After completing her Music GCSE and A-level and gaining her Grade 8 in Singing and 7 in Cello, Jo attended Cumbria Institute of the Arts where she gained a BA Hons in Performing Arts with a focus on Music Performance.
Jo lives and breathes music, performing in a number of local GADOC productions including Sister Act and Les Miserables. Jo is also a very frequent performer in the local Music Eisteddfod demonstrating an ability to perform across a huge range of styles from Jazz to Opera. Aside from her theatrical performances Jo regularly performs as one half of the vocal duo Jo and Lydia and is a founding member of the local choir the Accidentals.
