Charlie’s musical journey commenced at the age of 10, ignited by an inspirational school open day. Since then, he has diligently navigated the rigorous rockschool grading system, earning a distinction at Grade 8. Charlie also pursued the trumpet and actively contributed to a variety of music centre ensembles.

With six years of teaching experience under his belt, Charlie’s tutoring specialises in rock and metal. He enjoys exploring innovative teaching techniques that facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the instrument, catering to students of all ages.

Beyond his teaching endeavors, Charlie devotes a significant portion of his leisure time to multiple bands, seamlessly transitioning between various instruments within an eclectic range of musical groups. Currently, Charlie is the bassist for the pop-punk ensemble, Bloomfield, primarily composed of SOPM tutors. Bloomfield are known for their original compositions and has received airtime on BBC Radio 1, solidifying Charlie’s reputation within the musical community.
